Hewlett-Packard recently released the results of a study that it conducted in conjunction with QualityLogic regarding toner and inkjet supplies. This thorough study evaluates many aspects of a customer's experience with the printing process, as well as the related supplies.

Hewlett-Packard announced the results of a third-party study based on common user documents and compared the OEM supplies to third-party compatible supplies. HP conducted the studies because it believed that an analysis of reliability and print quality consistency on the user experience did not exist. Inkjet as well as toner cartridges were tested to gauge reliability. Conducted in conjunction with QualityLogic, the study was based on results regarding faulty cartridges, print quality consistency, and user interventions.
